There are several possible reasons for this:

  1. You are using the wrong card payment option. We have two options for payment via a credit or debit card:
    • Sharpay (listed first on the list of payment options in Billing): for Mastercards only;
    • Stripe (listed second on the list of payment options in Billing): for Mastercard, Visa, UnionPay, and American Express.
    Please verify that you are using the correct card payment option for your card.
  2. Our card processor does not support your country or region.

    If your card is issued in any country or region listed above, please try a different payment method, such as a different card payment option, a wire transfer from a EUR bank account in SEPA-supporting countries, a USD wire transfer via SWIFT (available on demand for businesses only), or a cryptocurrency payment option.
  3. Please note: payment card issuers may impose restrictions on online transactions by default. In particular, these may include:
    • restrictions on the number of transactions (usually no more than five payments/requests per day),
    • restrictions on the amount of a single transaction (no more than the equivalent of €3,000).
    We recommend that you check the current restrictions with your issuing bank.
    Also, make sure that your card supports 3D Secure and that the corresponding authentication is successful.
